Recommendations:
Use a mobile device (laptop, iPad, smart phone) to record notes DURING a meeting.

Go to your google docs.
Open the document
In the upper right corner, click Tools menu.
Choose Notification Rules
Check to be emailed every time changes are made, and choose right away rather than daily digest.
Click Save.
